This Privacy Notice is binding on StartYourBusinessHelp.com (SYBH.COM), North/Central Texas Angel (investor) Network Group (NCTANG), agents, assigns and successors.
PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO SYBH.COM & NCTANG. This notice, in summary form, is intended to tell you where we obtain information about you, and who has access to it once it is received by SYBH.COM & NCTANG It also tells you about your right to limit that access further.
WHERE WE GET INFORMATION:
Most of the information we collect about you comes directly from you – for example, the answers you provide on your loan application, such as your income, assets or loans. Information may also come from other applications, agreements or forms that you complete in order to receive our products and services. In addition, we maintain a record of each of your transactions, which include information such as loan balances and transactions.
In addition, we may obtain information about you from a consumer-reporting agency or from other parties (for example, your credit history or other facts relating to creditworthiness and employment histories).
TO WHOM WE DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION:
We do not sell information about our customers to anyone. We provide customer information about current or former customers from the sources described above to parties outside SYBH.COM & NCTANG only as follows:
To companies who perform marketing services on our behalf or with whom we have joint marketing agreements. A company performing marketing services on our behalf would include, for example, a company that assists in a broad mailing of materials advertising our products or services. A joint marketing agreement is one where another financial institution offers a product or service jointly with SYBH.COM & NCTANG. This company, like those in the previous category, must limit its use of the information to the purpose for which it was provided. We may also disclose information about you in each of the following instances below:
To other companies as necessary to process your business. For example, after we have reviewed and accepted your application, we transmit your account and transactional information to investors/underwriters who are involved with the final approval of your loan.

As authorized by you. You may direct us, for example, to send your account statements and confirms to a third party.
Otherwise as authorized or permitted by law. For example, the law permits us to respond to a request for information about you from a consumer-reporting agency.

We consider all information we have about you to be confidential, including the fact that you are a SYBH.COM & NCTANG client (unless you tell us otherwise). Your information is only to be handled in the manner described in this notice. Within SYBH.COM & NCTANG, we restrict access to information about you to those employees and authorized agents who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to maintain the confidentiality of your information. When appropriate, we also regularly assess new technology and developments in this area and upgrade these safeguards. You may have other questions about how we respect your financial privacy. GRAMM-LEACH-BLILEY (GLB) TITLE V PRIVACY
The privacy provision of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley requires companies to make their client privacy policies known to their customers and provide them with the opportunity to “opt out” of the sharing of nonpublic personal information. SYBH.COM & NCTANG currently does not engage in the practice of selling customer information to third parties, nor does it share information with affiliates.
If the policy to not share customer information changes, you will be notified in advance of such a change.
Because of the current SYBH.COM & NCTANG policy to not share nonpublic personal customer information, you do not need to notify us of your decision to opt out of such information sharing.
